Thanks for getting rid of snake_p and his alias: unclevic and ebel
Rupaul is an obtuseangle ID, right?  It's been a while since Ebel outted him and he left GD, can't remember them all.
Obtuseangle or Mike, whichever you prefer, is no longer playing GD or HBD. He spends his free time on the greens now-a-days. He was my mentor a couple years ago. Helped me alot. I tried to suggest he come back after that last update but he was not interested. I really don't know why he would have been rapaul and just come back for 1 season. He has other screennames he could have used.

No, Rupaul isn't obtuse.

Wonder who outted Ebel and only massive lies got him banned so put two and two together.

Yah I miss Ebel.  His great spirit of GD myth busting lives on in the archives.

Lets not hijack this thread any further bringing up old stuff.  It was hilarious when he exposed obtuse for the fraud he was, but that's not why he got banned.  After all, OA is spending his time on the greens nowadays LOL

Best of luck JConte!!!!!!

Whoa!  What have I missed?

LOL @ livermike!

JCONTE, wishing you only the best, thank you for all the hard work you have done in the last 7 years to try and make this the best game experience possible.

Best of luck JConte.

If JConte left by himself, then good for him. If FOX sent him packing and doesn't have a replacement yet, GD is probably doomed. Hopefully, I am wrong and GD will actually move forward. It has nowhere to go but UP!

Maybe JConte will bring back Irish99, since he's no longer both monitoring the game and stealing reward points from paying customers by winning titles at Notre Dame.

For those of you that don't remember or are too new to understand, the person in charge of this game decided to cheat paying customers out of D1A national titles and 4500 reward points so he could feel good about winning the game he controlled.

This is the history behind the great customer service you may have heard of.

Ban this, WIS..!!  Truth hurt too much...??

How am I even allowed to post here?  I haven't paid 1 cent to this company for a long time.

Why are people lauding/well-wishing a guy who ruined their game and now is running from it?  Now he's going back with TK to work on something...seems a bit fishy/convenient to me...I get the onward and upward part of life, but this is really a ***** move on jcunte's part

If this 94Fifty thing is where they went, what a crock of sh*t.  Let's put a sensor in a basketball and measure how many times someone can bounce it.  Really...??

How do you measure heart, leadership, or camaraderie?  You know, the intangibles that really matter?  How utterly stupid.

+1

I fully agree, the man bailed on a game he destroyed. Instead of fixing the pile of rubble that he's charged  his customers for, he flees from it.

For those who say the game hasn't been ruined, look at the world pops. Around 240 in each world, and still falling. Look at the coaches chats in your worlds. Look at these forums. They're just like Rover. Dead all over.

Now go back to patting Joe on the back some more.

Joe, I am no longer playing the game and have been an unapologetic critic of the new engine.  Regardless, I have to look at the entire body of work that WIS produced during my seven years of playing GD.  You of course were a huge part of that body of work.

I have to thank you, overall, for a very entertaining and addictive game. Those cyber-players became real.

I wish you nothing but the best in your future.

+1 to the above.

As someone who has chosen to "stick out" the new game engine and continue to play, I'm pretty well convinced that in many respects it is inferior to the previous product.  I've also been an outspoken critic of the decision to revamp the game engine so radically--but on a separate note, I have been playing GD since 2004, and have derived a tremendous amount of enjoyment from this "hobby."

JConte, thank you very much for your contributions to GD, and best of luck with your new venture!
