Position players fatigue based on a combination of innings in the field and plate appearances.  Position played is also weighted, so it's more tiring to play SS or CF than 1B. DH's are only fatigued based on PA.

This is why I don't pay attention to fatigue and just play guys right down into the blue. Rest when you're dead!
