bluenote, that Maurice Cheeks pick is confusing to me. You had plenty of assists already. Penny is a great PG, not as great when you use him as a 2. You need a lot of work on the boards, but I guess you do have great defense at least.

haha take my advice at your own risk! being able to build good teams is not the same as being able to accurately evaluate other teams - I think my predictions for the ODL this year have been almost totally wrong so far.

i cant believe i ended up picking thurmond...ive never been a fan....but i wanted a beast on the glass that played defense and fouled as little as possible...nates 66/67 season is 11.9/27.3 with a 70 d and most importantly an amazing 3.2 fp48....the 18 usg% still sucks since he shoots like crap but its not as high as some of his other seasons and right now its the lowest of my four guys and ill be drafting another guard with higher usage so hes pretty far down the pecking order when it comes to shots

scud...not sure why you think im weak on the offensive glass...thurmond is 11.9 and kemp is 13.3...marshall is even pretty average at sf with a 7.5...you were right on with the guard comment though...i have one guy im really hoping i get who fits nicely and is a proven 52mil winner

In all seriousness, having the break in the draft allowed me to play around with a couple of other options that, I believe, will make my team better.  But who knows??

that trade worked out well for both parties... person is a much better fit on blue's team, and cheeks fits in well on jweb's squad since jordan and wallace can shoot a few 3's.

Have kept my starting 5 under 780 fouls drafted..... Will be weak in boards but hope to gain it back with less FTAs by opponents.  Have some minutes to get though as SG and SF are partial platoons (60/40 or 65/35 splits).  Should be a non issue with 13 mil to spend still.  In fact betting I have tons of cash left or a bunch of unused minutes (i,e,m WAY too many). And as I write that I realize I may improve my draft position next season.  ugh.

i tried that low foul strategy once, coley. i discovered it indeed had an impact on reducing other teams' FTA's, just not enough. But teams are gonna foul the crap out of wilt.! : ) just wish he could hit more of them. : (

OK scud, what's the verdict on my Famous Five?

Well sappy IMO you messed up a bit by taking JR smith. You could have killed other teams by having Lebron teamed up in the back court with Michael Redd. Although everybody loves the 3 Ball you also could have crushed everyone by taking Fat Lever. Fat + Lebron = dominant back court rebounding, very good assists and low turnovers. Plus, Fat has one season at around 40% on 3s but he doesn't take many. Anyway I gave you much love already that I had to give you a little hate too my friend ;)
