I admit it's on me, and I was dumb. The fact remains that I accidentally discovered a glitch. How I discovered it is beside the point. Why should I get punished for it?
I will give you a parallel. A couple of years ago, I lost one of my best pitchers to a long-term injury. I had 20/20 in medical and training but he still got wrecked. Anyway, because his injury spanned two seasons when my end of the year recovery cycle was supposed to hit, he received no recovery whatsoever. I was super ****** because he was practically ruined even though I did everything right to maximize recovery.
This was the original injury bug that many of you probably still remember. I know I didn't have the only ticket that was sent in but I fought pretty ferociously with CS who continued to insist there was nothing wrong. Some players never get a recovery . . . blah, blah, blah. I never backed down and crushed their arguments one by one. Finally, they kicked the ticket upstairs to tzentmeyer after I discussed it in the forums. Do you know what happened? He found the bug in the system. Do you want to know what my reward was?
Nothing. No recovery. No retroactive boost. Just a dead pitcher. It sucked but I moved on. And the bug was corrected.
And I did everything right, didn't try to game the system. I will pretty ****** with them if they cave on this situation.
