St. John's has offered the job to Chris Mullins and he's considering it. He has no head coaching experience but led the Red Storm to the 1985 Final Four. He's currently an advisor for the Sacramento Kings.

DePaul is bringing back Dave Leitao. He coached there from 2002-05 and led them to one NCAA and 2 NITs. He then left for Virginia until he was fired in 2009.  Most recently, he's been as assistant at Tulsa

I hope it works out.....I love St. John's because of Chris Mullin.....it will break my old shrivelled heart if he sucks or worse yet gets busted for doing something dumb.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are considering the possibility of firing coach Travis Ford after being ousted in the first round of the NCAA tournament for the third straight year, The Oklahoman has reported, citing multiple unnamed sources.

The move would trigger a buyout worth at least $9.6 million, according to the Oklahoma newspaper, which reported the amount as the remainder of Ford's contract. 

But a push from boosters has athletic director Mike Holder at least examining the possibility, according to the report.

Tennessee has offered its vacant coaching job to former Texas coach Rick Barnes, and the two sides are closing in on a deal, two sources with knowledge told ESPN.

"It looks as though it's going to happen," one source told ESPN. "It's close, but it's not done yet."

George Mason has hired Bucknell's Dave Paulsen.  He's been at Bucknell 7 years and taken them to two NTs.  He also won a DIII national title at Williams in 2003

i think rick barnes to TN is solid. TN needs someone to come in and bring them back to the NT level, although if they ever want to get further, they may need to change coaches once he gets them there.
