I knew this was going to happen which is why I asked schwarze to send everyone a reminder when they were submitting their 5 keepers .

[Edit] By the way, # of pitchers post 1901 that were 20+ million dollars: ZERO

Which would of made that rule if interpreted that way totally unnecessary.

I was actually watching for this when all the initial keepers came in.  Had McQuillan not had that really good short-inning season, I would've spoken up immediately.  When Toney was picked, it appeared he was downgrading to '16 Alexander (not a terrible decision - still a good pitcher + a great long RP option in Toney) since the salary lined up almost perfectly, just below the $20M cap.

The only truly disappointing thing about this league is that nobody took the Reds. It would have been great to have a chance to add Pete Rose, quite possibly the greatest player of his generation, to this Indians team.

I would be impressed if someone could make the playoffs in this league with a Reds team. Slim pickings in a lot of places. That being said, I'll probably take them one of the next few seasons.
