Never considered that. I think the salary-based draft order adds another level of strategy to this draft.

Never considered that. I think the salary-based draft order adds another level of strategy to this draft. 
A snake draft could do the same thing. You'd have to try and stay balanced and in the middle of the order, or you could go up to 24 slots between picks.
