FYI - Union did 11 HVs, not 19 - UConn did 4 more HVs than Union.
ohhhhhhh, well that's an 8 HV swing.

Then for my #'s to work something needs to be worth more, It could be:

Start
Minutes
AP
or Preferences.

In more news, My A+ D3 team just got crushed by a D1 school in the second period. I had 8 HV's, 1 CV, 20 Minutes and 1400 AP. Lost in two cycles I think.
When did the player sign away? Was it before your artificial cap was released from moderate?

Yup.

That really shouldn't matter it's my understanding that my effort still "counts" and for him to leap frog me he would still need to double my effort which was probably something like 100 AP and 10 or so HV's.

That's a very rough estimate.

EDIT: just saw the 11, not 19 HVs

I think the minutes dont provide value in and of themselves, but rather give you a preference advantage and thus add a multiplier to the APs.

If its for all actions then UConn gets:
15 HV = 750 AP
1 CV = 150 AP
500 AP = 500 AP
So 1400 total D1 AP. Equivalent to 7000 D3 APs

And Union gets:
11 HV = 550 AP
1 CV = 150 AP
1 start = 150 AP
1400 AP * (1.2 multiplier for minutes promise taking preference from neutral to v good) = 1680 AP
So 2530 D3 APs

Either way, there are a number of things we dont know:
1-are the values of HVs and CVs impacted by preferences?
2-are the values of HVs and CVs impacted by the division you are at?
3-how well did UConn line up with the preferences?

"I think the minutes dont provide value in and of themselves, but rather give you a preference advantage and thus add a multiplier to the APs."

They did in the past and CS has said (Ithink) that none of the recruiting values really changed.

I am almost positive that preferences act as multiplier to total effort.
