no love for mchale?

mailman was the obvious pick but im guessing midzim just didnt feel like using him...after that its not crazy to go after mchale at all

24usg 60efg 90d....thats impossible to find outside of the 1st round...hes worth it

yea the boards suck but thats why he usually last until the 2nd....its not hard to find cheap low usg rebounding at the 3 and 5...you can also pair him with rodman/jordan/gobert/wallace/whiteside at the 1/2 turn and really get off to nice start...midge has been killin it in the 52 doing that

i doubt midzim gets mchale in the 2nd so if he really wanted him, he had to pull the trigger at 16...i like it

now marques in the 2nd? booooooooo you gotta roll the dice and hope he falls to the 3rd...he most likely will...theres so many good players you passed on....i hate it

Well, McHale's average draft spot is 37.78 and midzim's second pick was 33. Marques has an average draft position of 74.75 and midzim's third pick is 64.

Also, I too did not want to build around Mailman, which is why I traded down from #8. When he was still there at 17, I didn't feel like I had a choice.

I have missed the last three ODL's and am getting caught up on what I've missed. One thing has become clear to me, during my time away, there has been WAY wilder stuff than McHale in the first round,
This is very accurate, bad pick was poor wording on my part, bad value maybe.

Haha. Sorry if it seems like I am ragging on you. I am not. I like McHale and have been in other leagues with you where you have done a great job. I just have an obnoxious interest in precision.

McHale is a fine but very particular player with some flaws that make taking him too early problematic - if you can bracket him with big boards at the 5 and 3 you can make it work (having him fall to you in the second after taking the Worm in the early teens would be the ideal/dream scenario (but there are definitely some still workable other paths yet!))

on the other hand acting like ADP in a long lasting league of very seasoned veterans is 'no thing' is not, perhaps, wisdom

tau, were you going to take KG if I didn't trade up?

Neither is judging my strategy without knowing my strategy. And maybe my strategy will turn out to be awful - who knows - that's why they play the games. But carrying on like I just counted to 5 using the Book of Armaments is just a tad much.
