NEED 5 PICKS

This team is really bad right now...especially the pitching. We'll have to wait on Glavine (87) and Smoltz (88) for help.

One more question: In the initial draft, must you have a certain number of players already on your team? In other words, let's say I have fifteen players from 70, 85, and 00. Would I only have 10 picks? Or I have ten players, would I have 15 picks?
You must keep 20 or more, the most picks you can have is 5.
Sounds good. Thanks.

I'll take Detroit.

Let me clarify something about the go back/go ahead players. The Giants will select Willie Mays, Gaylord Perry, Barry Bonds, and Jeff Kent. I understand in 2000, we will be able to select two new players each from 2015 and 1975. However, the rules state that is because all your “Bring Ahead” players will be gone. However, that won’t be the case.

Let me give a couple of examples to understand what happens- say I select Mays starting in 54 and Perry starting in 64. In 2000, their seasons would be 69 and 79. They would both still be keepers for me. Am I able to keep them until the end of their career and still select new players from 75 and 15. Also, what about the “Bring Back” players. Say I pick Bonds to start in 86. In 2000, he would be in his 2001 season. Can I still keep him and make selections from 75 and 15?
