Because the FACT is that Trump DID inherit a growing economy, an economy he was "furnished" with due to Obama's economic policies. Which after 8 years, it is entirely FAIR to conclude that Pres. Obama delivered a sound and growing economy to Trump. One in which over 8 million jobs had been created under his watch in THIS Country.

And I have acknowledged (both in the very post you quote--though rather backhandedly) and elsewhere that Trump has been able in his handling of the economy, IF a bit risky (and costly to parts of our own economy--Farmers!!) with his tariff strategies.
The yet part is just that. His confrontational approach (which MAY have been ultimately necessary) still hasn't delivered the hoped for results.
Time will tell. Trump has only been in office 3 years, many of his economic policies have yet to bear fruit, whether excellent fruit or a rotten harvest still remains to be seen. As I said elsewhere, I DO hope he breaks Obama's jobs creation numbers----in THIS his 1st term. He would get credit for that.......from ME!

Thus, I don't see how my post was a "give all the credit to Obama and all the blame to Trump" post at all...........that was just your biased take on it!
As has been noted by many.........you are just overly sensitive to criticism of Trump and thus rush to defend him without provocation quite frequently.

Surely if Doug can figure out how to post in this thread without being red lined, you can.
In fact I welcome it.

I'm admittedly probably too quick to defend Trump sometimes. Based on the things posted here, by many, over the last 4 years, can anyone blame me? I am a bit outnumbered.
I still disagree with picking which things we give the current POTUS credit/blame for, and which we don't, but we've agreed to disagree before.
Other than rsp's new nickname, I have been very civil in all these Forums lately. I don't think redlining is ever the answer, nor is using it how many do what WIS intended it for (see Terms of Use). Don't want to read a person's posts, then block them. I don't think redlining has ever stopped anyone from posting in a Forum - in fact, maybe just the opposite.
I have been blocked by many and I don't care. I only care who responds. I don't reline anybody. I PERMA BLOCK 'EM.

And there's only 1 dumbass to ever reach the pinnacle of low life racist hatred and bigotry to the point of PERMA BLOCK.

The rest are in and out and that's fine because this train keeps rollin' on. But it's not about me or you.

Too much personal attacks and too little substance. I'll keep telling the truth as I see it. And back it up.
