Twisting would be using LA or Miami Lebron when you are Cleveland... Meaning using other teams a franchise player was also on.

What about guys who played with more than one team that year but they have their full season stats listed for the team you are using? I didn't use any of those, didn't think it would be right to take a guy who played 2 games for the Pacers and 34 games for another team that season.

I forgot that Atlanta was also St. Louis, even more reason for the Hawks to be Central rather than East.

If WiS lists them on the team, it counts. The important part is that they have your franchise as the team they are playing for.

Less often - so risk of fouling out is higher. Re. alignment we try to stick to real world divisions but also prioritze keeping owners with 2 or more teams in separate divisions/conferences, so it can be a little off sometimes. And yes, if a player in the database is listed as having played for your franchise, then they are eligible to be added for that season. You just can't use a season from another franchise, that's known as "twisting."

Yeah, I forgot that some owners have 2 teams. They should be in separate conferences.
