Well I'd say that's pretty much a wrap! Calgary has to win it's last 3 AND Colorado has to lose 3 of last 4...

Calgary has San Jose & Minnesota at home and in Vancouver on Saturday (3 very tough games). Avs have Vancouver, Edmonton, Chicago and LA (if they can win 2 of these...)

Flames are going to have an interesting off season. Is GM Sutter still going to be around? What about a back up for Kipper? Now I'm not sure about any UFAs or RFAs they may have (White? Staios?....); but I'm sure they don't have a lot of cap room!!! They don't have early round picks in the upcoming draft...

i'm not giving up yet. it's entirely possible for the avs to drop games to the canucks, chicago and L.A. calgary should be able to beat minnesota and they have beaten van a few times already this season. san jose is a hot and cold team, so it could still happen. gotta see who really wants it more though. looks like the avs currently. that loss against he islanders is huge now. one of the worst teams in the league beats us when we needed a win the most. but hey, maybe edmonton can pull off an upset too and the avs could lose four straight? anything can happen still. :>

Read the posts donaldjl..im not a big fan of Luongo..he has not proven he can carry the team..just because im a Canuck fan doesnt make me look at the whole playoff run with rose coloured glasses,if luongo gets injured and Raycroft or Schneider is our starter ill bet you or Nickhead or Godmike or Holer any time ,any place for any amount of money..because i beleive that Luongo is a liability and the team will play much better with the other 2 in net..but saying that i doubt if you guys will even watch hockey till next year seeing as your pathetic Flames will no doubt fail to make the playoffs..

Im torn,ive got a bet with toddcommish on a SJ vs Cal/Col 1st rd bet,obviously Calgary ..i mean Iginla cant beat SJ so if Colorado wins i might have a legitimate chance of Colorado beating the choker Sharks and me winning my bet..i think the NHL should go to a 12 team playoff race..lets be honest here ,talentless hack teams that are 29th in league scoring(Flames) really have no right even having a chance at making the playoffs..it just makes the league look bush league..
