never happens to me

me either, but not the 1st time I've seen this said. May be the browser, I thought we'd figured out Firefox doesn't have a problem, bur IE lets it thru
I would use FF (I prefer it to IE), but FF has been freezing on my computer (works for about 5 seconds, freezes for about 10 seconds, works for 5 seconds again, freezes for 10 and keeps repeating). I uninstalled FF, reinstalled it and it worked fine for a few days before the problem started up again. So I uninstalled it again and been using IE since. I had this problem a couple of months ago.

I dunno about Nickhead. I seriously doubt it in his case.

We have Utahcubs and maybe Squigs waiting in the wings, right
I just sitemailed Nick. He took on a new job recently which is probably why he the team on auto-pilot. I'll let you know what he says.

mad cows are being removed. i won't kick off the next season until we have a replacement signed up and a full roster.

and that cost me more money... LOL.

Been trying to trade for his first round pick from last year, and couldn't get him off the free agent list w/o going a lousy 20K over the cap.

Put a couple of more good guys out there for Utah or Squigs to start with.

he took a pay cut!!!!! I have a man crush on an imaginary guy!

if I'd waited til this AM after that, I wouldn't have had to cut Bewig to upgrade to that defenseman I wanted.

DAMN.

Renegotiating Contracts

To renegotiate an expiring contract click on the "resign" link beside the players, goalies, or coaches column. The link will not be available if their contract is not expiring at the end of the current season. The only time you can renegotiate contracts is during the player's, goalie's, or coach's final season.

The happier your player is at the time of the negotiation, the cheaper the seasonal salary will be. Any changes to the player's salary will be updated immediately in the current season. For this reason it is often best to renegotiate during the off season or playoffs so that you don't have to pay the new, more expensive salary. If the salary is lower than it was before you should resign the play immediately to start saving money!

I guess winning the Cup agreed with him.

Wow, morale must play a huge role. I just now looked at my coach to see what his demands would be for a new deal. Upon seeing this, how could I not sign him for 4 years?

Ieronim Chernov was signed in season 1. He was signed for $2,136,000 a season.

After a long negotiation with Ieronim Chernov and his lawyers, if you wish to re-sign Ieronim Chernov it will cost $1,884,375 a season plus a $471,093 signing bonus.

I resigned a bunch of guys. I have about 7 or 8 I won't re-sign, plus 2 others I'm taking a wait & see approach on. Plus, I'm changing coaches after the season. He's got a crappy training attribute and I have guys with 90+ potential that are in the low 60s overall still.
