Well, we'll just agree to disagree on the rockability definition, then. All three of them are in that camp...not their entire discography, of course...but most certainly for a part of their careers.

Cash is one of the founders. As a matter of fact, Folson Prison Blues (the entire With His Hot and Blue Guitar album for that matter) is the definition of rockability.

I concede that completely. Jerry Lee Lewis, Cash, Elvis, etc. were the vanguard of the white artists adopting the sound.

listen to more ..it is part camp but real love for the music.....they have originals too...it is not a joke band ..def not making fun of anyone.
it is reverence.
i have said before he is an elvis on psycho steroids..yes about that.
