The numbers he's put up are unbelievable.   I don't know how a guy with those ratings has thrown almost 500 innings with a WHIP under 1.5 and an ERA under 4.5.     I wouldn't look at him as anything beyond AAA.   He wouldn't even get a call-up to eat a few late-season innings.

Does the control of Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Tom Linton make him a AAA closer, or can he be a set-up B in the bigs?

Do you think this guy has used up his share of luck, or should I just go ahead and re-sign him?

I think you can use him in the bigs.  His PC will be low so he won't be able to walk the bases loaded.   I'd set him at 10-15.  That way he can get a couple outs or walk a guy/get an out.

Another one who's put up surprising numbers.   It would be hard to let him go despite the ratings so I guess it would depend on how much he wants.

After the Victor Martinez episode, would it be good comedy to put up a suggestion to have players get injured on rollover?

If you could guarantee some responses.    I think most won't fall for it.  But you'd only need 2-3 for a good time.

Did you know that today is the 34th anniversary of the collapse of the roof of the Hartford Civic Center (around 2 1/2 blocks from where I work)?

I didn't even know it collapsed.   No one cares about Hartford.

Tec works?

Should I have said "where I am employed" rather than "where I work"?

Aren't both alternatives equally surprising?

I assume he does something to make money.

I'm not sure it makes much difference.  Giving out handies behind the dumpster is giving out handies behind the dumpster either way your phrase it.

Not so much considering my previous response.

Does player rest really matter for position players?  I'm nearing the end of my first season, and at all levels I've made sure that none of my position players went lower than 98% all season by rotating bench guys.  Now towards the end, I'm noticing a lot of other teams don't do this.  Players at 80%, 70%, 60%...they still seem to perform at the same level as they did earlier in the season when they were healthy.  Am I wasting my time rotating guys to keep everyone fresh, should I just keep the best lineup in all the time?

Performance of fatigued position players has never been fully examined/explained.   I firmly believe fatigue affects injury frequency.  While I seldom play anyone less than 99% during the season(excluding "must win" situations), I've noticed that minor league injuries to PP often occur when they're 97% or lower(I'll let minor leaguers play down to 90%).

Mike, can you see any reason this guys sucks all of the sudden?  Just bad luck? The team's defense is better this season than last, so that's not the problem. http://www.whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=3295358
