Game 70: Brian Tolberg, 1-7 entering the game, pitches five 2-hit innings against the Spectres, which is far more than the Spectres manage off the Lone Star bullpen, which contributes four hitless innings as Houston shuts us out, 4-0. Kelvim Escobar falls to 1-7.
Game 71: Ken Griffey Jr. wakes up from a season-long slumber, hitting a double and two home runs, driving in six as the Spectres humble Houston, 12-5.
Game 72: Chuck Finley gets his first win of the season, going 5.2 innings and some help from Carlos Delgado and Edgardo Alfonzo, both of whom hit home runs to lead the Spectres to a 6-2 win.
It's off to Wrigley for the Spectres to face the Bootleggers.
