i think you guys should protest..you won the cup what? 25 years ago and you like living in the past..there is no way the Flames should ever..i mean ever miss the playoffs..the refs should turn a blind eye to the obvious holds and trips..i mean the Flames won a cup before..they should get preferential treatment..this is BS ..i for one am hoping the cANUCKS MISS THE NET THE REST OF THE WAY..but im in the majority..i love nothing better than seeing the Flames miss the playoffs ..this is a great day so far..i shot 77 on my day off ive won numerous bets this week..i had a nooner earlier,im drunk as f-ck and the Flames are on the verge of missing the playoffs..you have to ask yourself..is this heaven? does it get any better?..

if you had more than 1 player and could score more goals than 28 other teams..yes you heard right 28 other teams..maybe you couldve made the playoffs? but i doubt it..

cmon Juskay,ive shot a couple 75 's my best score..im happy with a 77..ive been in the mid 80's recently because im only playing 1/week...ive gotta work tomorrow but ill raise a toast to the Flames before bed..hey 29th isnt too bad..

i'd get on the canucks bandwagon juskay, but i'd rather walk the five feet to the first round exit. you guys are pretty all high and mighty for a team that missed the playoffs yourself a couple years back and have no chance in hell of making it out of the west. you'll be lucky to make it to the second round. but i congratulate you on making the playoffs and winning the division. maybe this is the year that the twins actually decide to show up when it matters. good luck. :>

Call it an off year.....Since this is WHAT IF SPORTS then let's just say not enough of the Flame's. "What-if's" happened.

Compared to the Canuck's "What-if's" such as.

What-if Henrik finishes in the top three in NHL scoring...

What-if Mason Raymond scores 25 goals...

What-if Samuelsson scores 30 goals...

What-if Burrows scores 35 goals...And so on...

Next season could be very differant because both the Canucks and Flames will be counting on a lot of "What-if's" just to make the play-offs.....My Canuck's could be on the outside looking in next season.

then we can all get a 2nd favorite team like godmike..and when that team sucks we can get another favorite..like godmike does..cal it the "godmike- never back a ****** team theory"

as a matter of fact im going to let all of you know in july who my favorite team was and most likely will be in the future..

I really think the season was lost at the FA time. When Calgary signed Boumeister! While he is a solid player and should be better than he played this season. STILL another D-man was the last thing the Flames needed. They need scoring depth, and there really wasn't a lot of that available on the FA market. SO, don't spend the money and leave yourself cap room to make a deal.

With a cap, trades are harder to make. Not only do you need to find a team with something you need and you have what they need; but also have to find a team with cap space if a high priced player is involved. BY, leaving himself some cap room, Sutter gives himself far more options. The signing this FA D-man, he limited those and therefore made it harder to make a trade.

The only way signing Boumeister makes sense, is if Sutter had a trade lined up with another team. Trading a d-man (or 2) for some scoring.... He didn't. The bottom line... the failure the Flames this season rests squarely on one man's shoulders.....MR GM! Time for a change, Sutter has been given a fair chance and he's failed...plain and simple.

Tough season guys. After the playoffs last season, I thought your team would be a major force in the West this season. Thems the breaks I guess.
