I am NOT complaining about the refs.....The ref called it a GOAL, BOTH on ice officials called it a GOAL. It was the cheating no good JERKOFFS in TORONTO who blew the call. You can not convince me that was a "Distinct kicking motion" NO way should THE ON ICE CALL OF "GOAL" been overturned. The decition to over turn UNDER MINDS the on ice officials call.

Damn refs....if it wasn't for them the Canucks would have won AT LEAST 38 Stanley Cups by now!

Whether you think it was a goal or not doesn't really matter. If the Canucks as a whole didn't pull a complete no show in the second period, no one would be complaining about officiating. The fact is that the Kings won every puck battle, the Canucks took too many bad penalties and Doughty and Johnson were monsters on the powerplay.

This loss wasn't because the officials blew 1 call, it was because the Canucks decided 20 or 30 minutes of playing hard was enough and decided to call it a night.

As for the 4th goal, that was solely on Aaron Rome and Kyle Wellwood not being hard on the puck. There is no way that giveaway should happen in a playoff game when there is one forechecker on 2 players back.

Canucks fans want to blame someone, blame the team for forgetting that a hockey game is 60 minutes long, not the officials.

Wow...talk about being a poor sport when your team loses. Juskay wins the prize for blatant paranoia with the rant about the goal judges in Toronto cheating the Canucks.

Oh yeah..."under minds" is Canadian for "undermines" I imagine?

You just worry about the GOLF Course Marshall.....He is the guy yelling at you and your FLAMES to back-up from the ladies tee and use the Mens tee.....

For the record, I never said (go read my posts) that the call cost the Canucks the game. I said that the OFF ICE officials got the call wrong, and I am not alone with my opinion.

The team stunk the joint out, Luongo was horrible, Wellwood handed the puck over. The PK was brutal (they miss Johnson more than you think). The only bright spot was Kessler in the face off circle.

I understand that as a fan you're frustrated, but in fairness, it's a really, really close call. I believe if the player was stationary and turned his foot to redirect the puck, it would have counted. The fact that his foot was moving forward on the ice when he turned it to redirect the puck makes it a kicking motion. They could have called it either way and someone would have thought it was the wrong call.

As for the on-ice officials, there is no way they were in any position to see if he kicked it or not...If you watch the replay from the near angle, Jarret Stoll is clearly in the way of the near ref who immediately called goal. Only he knows if he even saw what exactly redirected that puck, a stick or a foot.

Somehow, you making that comment.. doesnt surprise me.. hehe

lol...hey I don't always agree with his opinions, but very, VERY few people, if any, in the hockey media world are as knowledgable and entertaining as Bob.

Im only go to complain about Luongo,I gave him the benefit of the doubt..I always thought he was way overated and now i know 100%,biggest game of the year and he sucked, the rebounds he gives out are just horrendous and the 4th goal is typical of what he has done lately down the stretch.Sad thing is we are stuck with this guy for 12 years,I would start Schneider, bring him up..he cannot be any worse that Luongo ,another 4 goals on 16 shots?..cmon

maybe the PK wouldnt be so bad if Luongo could stop a puck once in awhile. Its true the whole team was standing around in the 2nd period doing nothing..just a brutal effort .I think it all boils down to goaltending, the team comes out great ,hits everything in sight knocks 3 Kings senseless get a early lead, the momentum is on their side, going in for goal 2 and a stranglehold, outshooting LA 12-4 ,then bang,,its tied up 1-1 and the bench just deflates.here we go again..Luongo has to make a save or 10,not let in every 3 or 4th shot..I heard that a lot of media are calling for Raycroft to start game 4,but i would go off the charts and go with Schneider if you can call him up? thatll shake things up.

from what i saw last nite,we are in store for another interview of Gillis telling everyone why he didnt do anything to address the defence at the deadline.we will also see Luongo crying telling everyone he let his teammates down again.

First rd exit = Sedin trade in the off season,Luongo if you find a taker?

Character and willingness have as much to do with winning a cup as talent does and its becoming apparent that the Sedins are the Swedish Joe Thorntons.

Whever is in charge of the predictable PP and lame standstill PK should be fired on the spot after the season ends,is this Ryan Walter? i always hated that bible thumper

how about some bold moves by Vigneault/Gillis before this series is dead

1-anounce before game 4 that R.Luongo is no longer the Captain,Ryan Kesler is the new Captain for the rest of the season and the upcoming seasons

2-C.Schneider will take over the goaltending reins for tonite, and a decision will be made for game 5

3-Canucks have let Assistant coaches Walter and Bowness go..and replaced them with Smyl and Arniel

4-bench Demitra start Hordichuk and tell Darcy he needs to have atleast 8 hits by the end of the night

4/20/2010 5:39 PM
You may as well spread the blame around a little more as the whole team deserves it. Apart from Samuelson every other player is playing well below the regular season performance. How about a few hits from our so called tough guys. How about skating with some speed. How about winning a few battles for the puck.
4/21/2010 12:02 AM
true, the whole team quit after the first period..Whats happened to Bieksa? he's turned into D.Phaneuf, cant the Sedins fight thru ny checks? they arent skinny 18 yr olds any more.. Gillis should just give Demitra 12 million or whatever he's owned? in a brown paper bag at the airport and tell him to go f-ck himself..The only guy i have liked is Edler,he's atleast trying out there hitting everything in sight, and Burrows is hustling but when your linemates have jumped ship its hard to do it alone..
4/21/2010 5:07 PM
I would rather have Alberts out there trying and fighting and yes taking the odd stupid penalty unfortunately ,over these other guys that wont even break a sweat ..Stan Smyl and Harold Snepsts are probably puking and punching holes in the drywall watching these guys not even try..atleast with the old Canucks we could be proud of the effort even though they didnt have the talent..these guys are a joke
