I said you proposed the White Sox, which you claimed but they weren't seirously considered, in your words. We talked at length about teams and I mentioned that the White Sox were the 2nd best team and we chatted about their pitching, Lance Johnson being A+/A+ as the 2B fill in, Frank Thomas in his huge season, etc. etc. You claimed that was the team you brought up, but when the final options were proposed they were not one of them and you chose the Mariners. Not sh!tting on you here. Just bringing that up as they were clearly the 2nd best team in my opinion.

All true, though I didn't really propose using them other than to send out some quick research on defense and listing them at the end, along with two other teams (99 Orioles, 95 Royals). Just don't want it to sound like I was complaining that "my team" wasn't picked, because that wasn't the case at all.

lol, great stuff. Though I think it will take time before we can call arvid the greatest Survivor player ever, which Russell clearly is.

....was wondering how arvid knew about that, josh...I'm not sure arvids comments will do anything to help you stick around.

....and if I was on the PL I dont know if I'd be to happy to hear one of your members was potentially in cahoots with a member of the opposite tribe.

One of the great things about this wonderful game of kneeneighbor's is having to find new ways to think about players and teams. We were down 3-0 when arvid and I discussed teams. He mentioned the White Sox, and I agreed that I thought they would have been a good choice. I never discussed with him what may or may not have been said in discussions to pick a team, or anything else that could possibly matter.

Having a good time playing games and learning new ways of looking at things are far more important to me than winning either a game or Survivor. If arvid and I were working together, I think it's rather unlikely that he'd have posted it here.

If discussing the pros and cons of possible teams after the fact is being "in cahoots", I'd just as soon go home. And if anyone in the PL thinks hyper-competitive arvid would do anything to hurt his team's chances, I'd be surprised.
