I didn't consider Northrop because the good 1918 season isn't even eligible. Cisco Carlos, same thing, you can't get his 1967 season according to the rules.

I don't understand the question about Jake Northrop. Are you just stating the known fact that he's not eligible in 1918?

Jake Northrop is eligible for 1919 beecause he is not considered a starter that season.

I guess the question is, would someone who understood the rules of this theme want 1919 Northrop on their team?

Could be. Maybe Northrop is their great-grandfather or something.

This got me thinking and that is always dangerous.

If McNeil can't play because he is a hitter with less than 400 ab's then shouldn't the 1918 season of Jake Northrop also be ineligible as he is a SP with less than 100 IP. Have no idea who snagged him and not trying to start trouble but fair is fair. I remember thinking I shouldn't take him because of the possibility of that snafu.

If that season is eligible there is still the possibility of not getting it so it was a 50/50 lotto at best.

I didnt read the rules thoroughly and i picked Nothrop.....no big deal. Ill live with it.
