BIDEN: Damn Fine President Today Topic

It's funny to me how people are covering for Biden on the Afghanistan debacle, but most of what we hear and repeat is simply automatic confirmation bias. Obviously, if this had happened with Trump in office (and it didn't happen with him because his brain isn't mush), people on the Left would be calling for his removal, and rightly so.

What's more interesting than listening to your chosen echo-chamber (aka Twitter, IG, FB, MSNBC, CNN or Fox News or whatever), go find some international news outlets and see how the rest of the world is observing the Biden presidency.

If you think our stature in the world was diminished under Trump, well, people might not like obnoxious but they won't respect incompetence and weakness. Biden left some of our strategic allies with their tails hanging in the wind, and they aren't happy about it. And now we lost 13 Marines in one day after no combat deaths in the prior 18 months. It's sickening because it was unnecessary and foreseeable.

Being an arse doesn't make you a bad President, and being good ol' Uncle Joe doesn't make you a good President. Trump may have been unpolished, but you knew where he stood. And I'm sure our remaining service men and women praying they survive another two days in that hell hole would love to hear a little "America First" from the White House again.
1. If you think the confirmation bias phenomena only applies to the left, you're delusional. If this had happened under Trump, Republicans would be defending it. Not only that, they would be attacking the left for questioning any decisions that Trump made and denying basic reality.
2. You might want to look up Trump's evacuation of Northern Syria. Might learn a thing or do, and maybe rethink how this might have gone under Trump.
3. Our standing in the world, factually, went down much more under Trump than it has now or will under Biden. You can look at polls, the reactions from foreign leaders, anything. Yes, this is a hit to our reputation. But Trump was infinitely worse.
4. Yes, these consequences were foreseeable from us pulling out of Afghanistan. They were foreseeable when Trump made the deal with the Taliban. Biden was the only one who had the balls to get us out of our longest war. And now he's doing a great job with the evacuation process. Trump, Obama, Bush? They're all cowards. They promised an end to the war but didn't have the courage to actually go through with it. Biden took the political hit to help America.

Billions in assets left behind? With a B?
Wow. I really had no idea it was that bad.
Absolutely inexcusable.

I would be shocked if it's actually billions, but even if so... who cares? We're not fighting the Taliban anymore, and THEY ARE THE GOVERNMENT. They can make weapons on their own now. Their stockpiles will dwarf whatever we left behind soon anyway. Why is this such a huge deal?

I have almost zero confidence in Biden. I also don't think he sees the big picture.. but he could be part of the plan.. to bring this world under a big umbrella as in one government. You will be monitored, and tracked. Even what you say on the phone will be filed, and say the wring thing, the government agents will be at your door. Something like in China under the savage CCCP. If so, it will be a nightmare that gets worse every month

and I am not a 'conspiracy theorist' as some would say, but man... this is happening.. our freedoms are vanishing.. and there is not even a fight

This is not 'hating' on Biden, like the left did with Trump. If he is removed, there are others who are worse: Elizabeth Warren. Nancy Pelosi (She is a communist) then AOC, and I Omar etc the list is long and still on it is Hilary. What do they have in common? They hate America

You're an idiot!
What do they have in common??
I noticed that EVERY "hater of America" you mention is a WOMAN.

Misogynist much!
Pelosi is NOT a communist and these women (prolly) do NOT hate America.

“Pelosi is a communist” got an actual lol from me.

The other thing they have in common is they are the new faces and leaders of the DEM party. Maybe not Warren so much any longer as she embarrassed herself out of that role, but the rest sure are.

Also part of the "strategy". Speak out against them and you're obviously a misogynistic pig, very similar to the "speak out against Obama and you're obviously a racist POS".

Worked so well from 08 thru 16, why not stick with that tired old playbook.

Bruce Lee was a pig................

Hillary and Nancy are "new" faces?

nobody cars how much confidence you have in Biden. The fact that you have lots of confidence in Trump casts severe doubt on where you place your confidence. I do not hate Trump. I just think he is a poor excuse for human being, let alone the president of the U.S.

Do Candace Owens and Tim Scott also employ this racist strategy?

Also very interesting that NANCY PELOSI is being mentioned as a "new leader" of the Democratic Party. lmao

New faces and leaders.
Two separate things indicated by the presence of the conjunction "and".

More evident with each post and "response" that meaningful discourse is unlikely in these forums from the 6 of you.

Continually harassing each other and don't appear capable of seeing topics through any other lens but the one spoon fed to you by your respective party leaders.

Good grief, no wonder it is mostly a ghost town.

I think there's 7, maybe 8............
9/1/2021 4:31 PM
Oh sorry, Nancy Pelosi isn't a new leader but she is a new face?
