I think Coburn slashing Guerin on the ankle had something to do with that fight.

I'd say that once Philly realized they weren't going to win, they started playing their goon game and Guerin had enough....The slash I mentioned came right at the face off. I don't really see where the obvious instigating comes from. Difference of opinion maybe?

Either way you look at it. Philly took a lot of bad penalties and appeared to be frustrated through most of the game. Hartnell was just plain stupid the whole game and Carcillo actions were uncalled for to say the least.

Everybody knew this was going to be a physical series...It's the Pens and Flyers.

Agreed... difference of opinion.. I just dont like how the NHL singled out Carcillo since Stevens didnt put him on the ice until after the scrap.. hell I am not even a Flyers fan.. lol... and they seem to be fine with it.. so non issue.. Cammaleri did the same thing tonight.. he should also get a suspension
