How does the dealmaking thing work? If everyone has the box checked the tourney stops and options are presented or something? Had I made the final table last night, I was thinking I'd need to be way more open to the possibility depending on how things went.

yes, that is correct. It gives options for how the total amount of payout, depending on number of people , could be distributed to thosepeople. I did it not too long ago we just ended up splitting the pot 50/50

I think I'd almost always be too paranoid and concerned about being overly agreeable.

We were haeds-up for about 25min. and neither one of us were making any significant gain on the other so he put the chop option out there and I put the deal together

On FTP the deal option is really sweet. The first hand after both players have checked the option a box pops up and you get 20 minutes to both agree on the deal. If you want to pass the box to the other player he can "propose" the deal. They have a couple auto options like winner take all (always thought it would be fun to do that one heads up in a sng) but there is also a deal based on the percentage of chips you have. Then there is always the custom option.

With that big of a jump from 2nd to 1st I would of been all over a chop if I got close to even on chips. Even with an edge in ability thats a huge amount to gamble on the rolls we have now.

Yeah, I'd have stopped and thought about it once we were even if he'd said something. An even chop would have netted me about $130 more than I ended up with.

Suprise of that pay out difference from first to second which clearly shows its been way to long since I have been deep in a big tourney.

Also suprised to hear you say the play was still deep, I know it was a ds but those turbos usually get pretty redonkulous late.

Have you gave up cash games on UB? Was the bad runs because of play or cards. I thought UB cash games seemed soft. Everyone overvetting pots to try to get paid off. Love that stupid 7duece game. The badbeat jackpot I havent seen as high since you first joined and I was sitting at a table when it was hit. Damn that would be a nice score.

I just ran bad for a while which given that I was playing over my head slowed me down. I'll keep grinding .05/.10 here and there at least until I clear the bonus. Just never got around to it last night.

It's possible I'm misremembering, but I think it was $710/$455 or something like that.
12/9/2009 1:44 PM
yeah, I think you're right.
12/9/2009 1:45 PM
Just looked it up on OPR. 711 - 450
12/9/2009 1:45 PM
ah, I was close.

You're only one man.

Have you tried the 7duece game where you get paid off all the time cause they always put you on 7duece...Of course its harder to bluff.

I have to get back to the micro mtt circuit and try to hit something and the 6.50 sng since I have like 20 buy ins thats gonna have to be good for those.
12/9/2009 2:05 PM
haven't played that 7deuce thing.

Played a $12 sng last night, but I think if I try to start running several a night I'll go with $6.50s for now.
