New Challenge: Cy Young Screw Your Neighbor.

Each tribe will select a Cy Young winner and his team for the other tribe to use. However you are not selecting his Cy Young season but rather the season after his Cy Young Win. The pitcher must be eligible to start in the exhibition mode. That pitcher will start all games for the other tribe. Only pitchers who made a majority of their appearances out of the pen are eligible to come out of the pen. Points awarded as follows: Win with the Screw Your Neighbor Team- 3pts Lose with the Screw Your Neighbor Team -1pt. Team with most points wins

However there is a catch. After the tribes have been assigned a team each individual has the option to either play with the Screw Your Neighbor Team and amass points towards tribe immunity or they can elect to SM me and let me know they intend to use any CY YOUNG WINNING SEASON pitcher and his team instead. This will amass 0 points towards team immunity but if you win you yourself will be safe this week no matter what. If you play with the screw your neighbor team you may not win individual immunity.

Complex challenge so be sure to ask any questions that may arise.

Teams are due by Wed 8am est when I get to work. Reminder i am with out computer in the evenings the next few days as my computer at home is still down and my wife took the lap top on her trip.

So if I understand you knee... we can snivell our way out of the challenge and not help the team at all... but preserve our own hides for a round--
yet risk reserprosity (did I say that right, lol) err... retribution by our tribes for running for the hills & not staying to fight the fight...

Exactly, toddle. However be ware, while you would be favored against another screw your neighbor team you could get paired up against someone who is doing the same thing. And if you ditch your team and lose you would probably be in trouble.

My thoughts on this are a few different things but i do not want to share them until things shake out. But when I played it out in my head I thought it could go several different ways.

why 1 point for losing ? just wondering

So that playing with the screw your neighbor team and trying to help the cause of the tribe counts for more than playing with your own team.

3 points for winning with the screw your neighbor team
1 point for losing with the screw your neighbor team
0 points for playing with your own team

Well, if I have put an X on my back then I did it in a solid fashion! I have been upright this whole process w/o trying to manipulate it's players, rather make 'em laugh and skewwer the weasels:

"Unless I am mistaken that is what we are doing here, playing a game, and I rather think I did a good job of helping him to alienate himself from the rest of the tribe."

I'd rather have as much fun as I can, play most of the challenges, and make it pretty far. Yeah, I want to win. But I'd rather lose in the fashion I am playing than win by "flying under the radar", I'd still get more out of this game in terms of sheer entertainment that way in my opinion.

Oh yeah, acketyack:

could only manage 4 hits in my worst outing of the 3 games I played...forget to check the errors as if that matters now.

Maddux cruises. Scatters 3 hits over a complete game. 0 walks and 13 K's while adding 2 hits and an rbi. The cherry on the top of a domination sundae. My Braves beat Delta's Mariners 3-0. ONe error per team.

No DH in this challenge. All games are no DH unless otherwise noted.

Also with premision from the writer I thought i would share this tidbit that came along with the last vote.

"Guess we get to vote off someone I consider one of the biggest threats to me in this survivor. Was happy to see we picked him up...was hoping we would get josh just for this scenerio."
