First, let me say thank you for hosting this.

Due to details of alliances, both true and false, I ask that you exercise caution in releasing any f this information:

When I decided to join up Iooked to hook up with friends. So awags and I immediately hooked up. I also contacted Mr_Mojo and stevedotdec who I was allied with previously. We could be called the Three Amigos as we worked to finish 1-2-3. We have others on allied with us via one person, including nyaggie and nelson. Several of us were contacted by other alliances and we played along as long as it benefited us.

The idol play came from information provided by our false alliance. We knew they wanted to vote nelson off. It would have been a 4-4 tie except that we had the idol. A couple of us voted for nelson to make other think it was just nelson and me. I chose atcchris as the other idol beneficiary to put the other alliance target on our next target. You should see sme of the sitemails we have received wanting my blood. Fishnasty is so confused. He thinks he has a majority of 6 wthat was led by wildpike.

I am confident that the winner will come from our alliance. It will likely come down to who wins the last few challenges. All in all, I like my chnces to finish as good or better than my previous 3rd place finish

Dear Tyson,

Yawwwwwwn! Sorry, I'm just sooooo tired. Cuz all I do is sit around and watch the other players fall like dominoes! We have this game......IN THE BAG! Me and Awags have been working together since day one. Leaving messages in the sand, talking on our coconut phones. We have so many people in our inner circle that its not even funny. Its like a ponzi scheme on a tropical island. And you might call Awags Bernie Madoff. And I would be like, his wife or something. Except with smaller hooters. We have so many people in our inner circle, but they don't understand at what point they get screwed. The only fear I have right now is that someone gets hot at the end, and screws up the entire hierarchy. My prediction: 1)Awags 2)Me 3)Nelson

Well I have to turn over now so my back don't burn and its too difficult to write while on my back.

See ya on the mainland!

Love, Arfy

PS-You never responded to your tree mail that I posted on your facebook page what your favorite book/music/movie/ or game is. But now its too late, so I don't really care! Ha ha!

I've really enjoyed this "season" of Survivor. Thanks for doing all of the hard work that is necessary to run this game. I figure you are looking forward to getting my letter, because you know I'm running this thing. I decided to put some effort into the Idols this time, and I'm surpised at how enjoyable and sort of addicting it can be to solve the riddles. A game within a game. The Tombstone idol was a little troublesome, because there's about a million movies made about the gunfight at the OK Corral. The "wink-start" clue helped me narrow it down. QBert was the easiest, even though I never really played that game. I spent all my childhood quarters on Dig Dug.

This is my third time playing Survivor, but it's the first time that I've started the game with established enemies. In particular - livemike and dublinuf and in general - the whole dagoat - golfpro71 alliance. Livemike lied and doublecrossed his way through the first game and was the reason I got voted out. He's a snake and I took him out with the first vote. I eliminated dublinuf in that previous game, and he's been against me ever since. He was the first to go from my tribe, thanks to me. The dagoat group lied about allying with me in the last game, so this game I knew they could be trouble for me. I used one of my three idols to orchestrate his removal from the game. He never saw it coming.

Which brings me to the wildpike "super-alliance." Wildpike approached seven different people to make a super alliance and just assumed that they were all game because he asked them to join up. Sure. Why would anyone lie in a game of Survivor? At least half of his alliance just played along and they're still playing dumb. I passed my idol that was going to expire to bfkfrasier. He played it on nelson - the target of the alliance and atcchris, who had no idea why it was used on him. End result, the other half of the super alliance is fractured and filled with doubt, believing that atcchris is a traitor of some kind. We put him out of his misery at the next tribal vote.

Given all of the above, I'm still not super confident that I will win the game. Anything can happen. However, if you remember, several weeks ago, I sent you a sitemail detailing who I thought would be the final nine. Spot on. Now I just need them to vote for me.

This game was much more interesting than the last one, I was happy to be a little more involved this time, even if it did mean getting eliminated before the final merger.

I knew awags was running everything, even though I never had much direct contact with him, and I knew he was with nyaggie because of the Da Vinci Idol play.  That vote was probably the one that screwed me over the most.

The alliance I tried to start at the beginning of the game had potential, but unfortunately, a couple of them got picked off early and then we were screwed (not to mention csudak and Arfy apparently were with awags, but that's another story).   My original partner was dawgnuts, but he didn't seem to be as involved as he was in the last one. Once he got eliminated I knew it was only a matter of time.  I tried to hang on to Arfy as long as I could, but I ended up as dead weight on the second tribal split, and that was that.

I was also a part of the "wildpike alliance".  I thought that was hilarious, since he did it so late in the game it was obvious that everyone already had their alliances and plans.  Like everyone else, it seems, I just tagged along and thought it might be useful later in the game.

Wow...I'm shocked that that many people in their letters from home thought I had a chance to win.  Maybe awags & nelson did make the right move voting me out when they did.  Of the five of us, I had by far the least amount of contact with other players.  Everyone else either had their spies or were a spy in another group.  Outside of our "final five", I didn't reach out to anyone and no one else contacted me.   I should have been the perfect person to "carry" to the end...ah well

No hard feelings to awags or nelson, I had a blast playing.  Big props to pola for running such an awesome version of the game!

Regarding awags response to nelson's question:  I wasn't shocked when bfkfraser was voted out because I thought it would be nelson instead.  I was shocked that awags would vote another of the people he had a final four alliance with out at that point in the game.

It's okay...he took out someone he had a final 2 alliance with a bit after that...

As someone who's made the Final Vote twice and hosted the first two seasons, I'm still amazed that so many people make "Final 2" alliances.  Make it Final 3 or Final 4 to give yourself some wiggle room.

If you make Final 2 guarantees with people and those people find out they were each promised the same thing, you're screwed.  If you have three or four people working together, it's much easier to vote players out since you never promised them the Finals.  More than 4 makes it tough to contain.  Too many leaks and chances for swing votes the other way.

Also, if you're not making alliances before the tribes are first announced, you ain't playing the game right.

So says me.

So before I read the votes... Congrats to awags and arfy for making it to the final two.  Congrats to all who played and made it further than they thought they woul.  FishNasty's trip to the jury seemed like a pretty sound accomplishment, I was sure the rookies would be killed off at first tribe split...  Tough game when there are so many vets who know how the game works...  For everyone.

Judging by some of the responses and explanations that came with the votes, it obviously was a hard decision.....  I'm going to leave the explanations out of the votes...anyone who wants to explain can...

So without further ado... The votes...

Great game everybody!  It was alot of fun!  Thanks for the 3 votes!   But I'm curious if those were just spiteful votes because of Awags.  Personally, I would have voted for Awags as well!  I don't really like sitting back and letting someone else control the action, but I had to try a different approach because I had been burned  many times before being aggressive.  I have to nominate Mr. Mojo and Onside as fan favorites  for their humorous postings.

Are you now going to start your "own" Survivor again where nobody gets voted off?

I was actually kind of surprised that we were able to do this.  I suggested to Awags that we get rid of you(Nelson) because you were too dangerous.  I think you had already won 3 challenges at this point.  He seemed to turn pretty quick.  I guess you stood in his way.  I  convinced Mr. Mojo and it was a done deal.
