And that was how many weeks ago?
Give us Canadiens fans that much time too to moan!

Actually, it was a year ago, but then again, who would expect you to actually pay attention.

So, how would Habs fans have reacted if say, Hal Gill had checked someone into a turnbuckle? Would they be demanding a suspension? Would the police look into it? Nope, they'd cheer wildly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHHMZkpvw6c

Frickin hypocrites.

Frickin hypocrites.

It was a rhetorical question of mine and proves my point.

So, I guess this means we Habs fans should complain about the Max hit for a least a year....

No, it means you should STFU already and deal with it, like fans in the other 29 NHL cities already have.

If the situation was reversed and a Hab checked a Bruin into the stanchion, we wouldn't have heard a single word from you.
3/17/2011 9:31 AM
Yes we would.  We would hear him defending the player.

Well, that should just about wrap up the division. Now, they just need to keep playing that way for the remaining 9 games.

Yes but you have to admit it's an extremely weak division.  I mean the leading scorer in the NE is like Thomas Vanek with 64 points (ie. Thomas, Price's numbers are extremely over-rated).  Beating up half-sized Francois/Euro teams regularly doesn't make a team a contender. I don't know if the Bruins are even a playoff team in the West.

Then it's a good thing they're not in the West. Of course, they are .500 vs. the West so far, so it's not like they'd be a basement team.

BTW, how'd the Bruins do when they made the West Coast trip last month?

I forgot.

And we wouldn't have heard a single word from you then either, eh?
And yes, you would have read my complaints.
I'm different this way.
I believe in fairness, even when it goes against my own team, regardless if I'm watching them or playing for them.
(I mentioned the "playing for them part" cuz I have done that when I've played sports for schools)

I beg to differ...half of Price's shutouts have come against the Flyers, Canucks, Rangers and Penguins, and he's also posted a .910 or better save percentage against 9 of the top 15 teams in goals scored per game. As for Thomas, his numbers against Northeast opponents are worse than his numbers against every other division except the Central.

Curiously, both goaltenders have sucked against the Central posting a combined 0-5 record with a save percentage below .900 and a GAA over 3.40!

I believe both goaltenders have legitimately earned what they have this season and should both be Vezina finalists.

Yup, because I was ******** all last season after the Cooke hit on Savard, right? How many posts did I make on this thread about it? ZERO. How many did I make right after this one? NONE for the first week and a half.

So once again, you are wrong.
