Pretty sure I dismissed him because he declared himself "A true Christian conservative".     That's not an electable position to take.

I'll add that, with you getting 100s and 90s, that you're more right wing than me.    I assume you're pro-life, anti-SSM and anti-pot.    Not sure about climate change.   I took the lefty stance on abortion and didn't really have a strong opinion on the other 3.    The rest were righty.
Pro-Choice. Don't care about SSM. Anti-pot. Don't care about Climate Change.
Anti-pot? I thought you were in favor of freedom?

Don't care about climate change? That's probably the issue that ends up having the most impact on the largest group of people. Weird place to not care.

Man-made climate change is definitely not a farce. Regardless of what you think of Gore, billions of people burning fossil fuels for a hundred years has impacted the planet negatively.

We can disagree on the appropriate course of action but denying that it is happening is completely stupid.

Ha.  Had a guy in O'Hare ask me to sign a petition for no nuclear plants(long time ago).    I declined and he started screaming "Nuclear power kills babies!!!  Are you for killing babies!?!?!?!"    I said "Yeah, I'm pro-choice.   What else you got?"    He went away.

I'm all for nuclear energy. I've made that clear in the past.
That opens up other cans of worms but at least it's a step towards something.

Other than, you know, just denying the existence of man-made climate change.

It's logical to believe that burning fossil fuels for a hundred years has had an impact on climate change.

The real question is: how much of climate change can be attributed to man made causes, and how much is natural?

The climate change fear mongers want us to believe it's mostly man made, yet provide little credible proof.

It could be argued that damn near everything man-made, including replacing trees/grass with buildings, has a negative impact on the planet.    After all, none of that is natural progression of a planet.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that humans are responsible for 60% instead of 100%. Does that change anything?

I don't think it does.
8/12/2015 3:35 PM
I think it's more likely that humans being responsible for 1% may be on the high side.

I think that's definitely wrong.
