I think the theory is that sleep times should affect all owners semi-equally since it is unpredictable how the picks ahead of you will occur such that anyone can get hit with a bedtime pick. Seems like proxies were really effective for this scenario after the first couple of rounds from what I observed.

I am pretty torn for my upcoming pick between a big swing on a 19-20 player (which I have pretty much avoided) or something safer.

outliers are bound to happen. I think mean and median could show the data a bit truer in this experiment.

So, wait a second.....what about the zero time between my two picks? Ben, are you factoring in my time between picks one and two?

I am currently getting errors when I click on players from the draft center, which could indicate some work is being done on the database right now, which could indicate something else..........

I think the first overall pick should count as zero because the draft hadn’t begun yet

Yeah, but they aren’t. I could have waited at the turn for a while, but I didn’t. I gave both picks simultaneously. Fair enough, right? Since there was no time prior to the first pick, I believe that should also count as zero. You could also count time from the point at which dh said I could pick. I’d have no problem with that

Just to move the dad convo over here:
@benhoidal My kid just started getting pretty good at make believe like the last two months and it definitely took play time to another level. I look forward to hearing about the cool stuff your kid starts picking up.

I can give you 7 minutes for the first pick. That sounds very fair. Turn definitely counts as one pick.

Right now she is just giggling at everything which is awesome. She’s just transitioning from being a mamas girl the first three months to being a daddy’s girl so I’m not looking forward to giving this time together up at all.
