SAK
you do remember that my presence on WIS was almost non-existent in 2010, right?
(compared to previous years)

So I might be wrong about you.
But I am not wrong about me.
I complain about my favourite players/teams getting away with "murder".
Do you do the same about your team(s)?

Yes but you have to admit it's an extremely weak division.  I mean the leading scorer in the NE is like Thomas Vanek with 64 points (ie. Thomas, Price's numbers are extremely over-rated).  Beating up half-sized Francois/Euro teams regularly doesn't make a team a contender. I don't know if the Bruins are even a playoff team in the West.
I beg to differ...half of Price's shutouts have come against the Flyers, Canucks, Rangers and Penguins, and he's also posted a .910 or better save percentage against 9 of the top 15 teams in goals scored per game. As for Thomas, his numbers against Northeast opponents are worse than his numbers against every other division except the Central.

Curiously, both goaltenders have sucked against the Central posting a combined 0-5 record with a save percentage below .900 and a GAA over 3.40!

I believe both goaltenders have legitimately earned what they have this season and should both be Vezina finalists.
Good points.
I don't know about Thomas, but I do know that Price has a good habit bad habit of playing better
against higher ranked teams
and worse against lower ranked teams.

Other than meeting up with "Cinderella" teams in the playoffs (like the Flyers last season),
this is better playing average/bad against both types of teams.
Fortunately/Unfortunately, Halak was playing better than him by the time the playoffs started, so he didn't get the starts, understandably.

Yes, it was quite enjoyable around here when you were non-existent. Any chance we could have that happen again and make it permanent?

Sports News in Brief

Report: Sidney Crosby Dead Of Intracranial Bleeding, Will Start Against Bruins

March 29, 2011 |

PITTSBURGH—According to a report released by the Pittsburgh Penguins organization Monday, star forward Sidney Crosby, who suffered a severe concussion last January, fatally succumbed to intracranial complications Monday at the age of 23 and is expected to make his first start in nearly three months tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers. "Late last night Sidney experienced a severe brain hemorrhage and was rushed to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where doctors were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m.,"† Penguins owner Mario Lemieux said in a statement. "We're really looking forward to seeing 'Sid The Kid' back out there on the ice where he belongs, leading this team into the playoffs. It's a hockey night in Pittsburgh!" Crosby is survived by his parents Troy and Trina and a younger sister Taylor, and, according to head coach Dan Bylsma, should get 18 to 20 minutes of ice time tonight depending on how he feels.

Something that makes us Habs fans look bad (lol/groan):

//Christina Leek
A HABS fan, a Leafs fan, & a Bruins fan are climbing a mountain & arguing about who loves his team more.

The Leafs fan insists he is the most loyal.
''This is for the Leafs'', he yells, & jumps off the mountain.

Not to be outdone, the HABS fan is next to profess his love for his team.
He yells "This is for the HABS!!!" & pushes the Bruins fan off the mountain.... :):):) //

“Hockey stick: $100.
Habs jersey: $200.

A ref actually on the Habs' side..priceless.”

yup
i predicted (elsewhere) that the Habs would win this series in 5 games...which means the next 2 should be Bruins losing

They came through.  They are such a road team.  Too bad they couldn't just slip down the standings a bit more.  I didn't see the game though.  If you get blocked with juiced, randle let me know.  I can give you access to sergei and my alias.
