What if the LH2B is really, really fast? Could he take the flip from shortstop, tag the base and then run to first base in time to beat the runner by a half-step?
I mean, isn't it really just an old wive's tale that the second baseman actually has to throw the ball to turn a double play? I mean, anyone who clings to that notion probably still believes that your arm has to cross in front of your body when you make a throw.

Uncleal: Coach, do you have my video today?
Coach: Video? What video?
Uncleal: You know, the video of me turning double plays handed? All of my friends are waiting to see it.
Coach: Oh! Oh, yeah ... um ... that video ... you know what? It didn't turn out because the ... uh ... the whatzhoozis cord wasn't properly connected.
Uncleal: The what?
Coach: The whatzahoozis cord. Yeah, if the whatzahoozis cord isn't connected right, there's nothing you can do.
Uncleal: Oh.
Coach: It's a shame, son. Just a bad break.
Uncleal: So can we film it again sometime?
Coach: (rolls eyes) Yeah, yeah, kid, sure. Maybe sometime. Hey, are those jockstraps clean yet?

Uncleal thinks we are his friends?

I'm speculating, but that's how I guess he would phrase it to the coach. The alternative would be to say, "I have to post the video online to show all these morons that I'm right," but I'm guessing that a simpleminded lad like uncleal would tell his coach, "Me and my friends have been having this debate, and boy, am I going to show them!"

Well, there is that. But, I'm also thinking that anyone that age that spends as much time on here as he does, and is the stat-boy for the team, and is -handed, and forgot to bring the cord, probably doesn't have a lot to choose from in that department.

This is almost getting pathetic that we are all waiting for this supposed video. It is absolutely possible to place a guy at 2nd base who has a hand on his foot and allow him to play bare"handed" so that he may field the ball in sommersault fashion and then have him fling it in any which direction if he is double or triple jointed at the knee or ankle....THERE PROBLEM SOLVED....so tell your ies to have their foot and hand amputated and replaced by each other in order to accomplish this feat.........

Watching them bat would also be entertaining.

I say we give him three days to produce the video.

If not, we bombard "coach" with emails.

You'll have to go back to pages 26-28 to see what happened when we were going to try that before.
On the other hand, this suggestion may at least get unclean back into the thread with a progress report/excuse.

Where is that fooker anyway?

Oh, my bad.....

He can be found trying to fill a SLL league, while he waits for "coach" to find "a cord" for the "reshoot" of the "video."

I am sorry, I must have missed the keywords....any chance for another recap?

"Coach" is an innocent bystander here. He's just humoring the little twerp like the rest of us. We just need uncleal to post his mea culpa and be done with it.
