Man, Rick Peterson is like a miracle worker. He took the 2010 Brewers staff and made them pitch just like the 2009 version.

I actually thought before the season that they had one of the best bullpens in the NL. Boy was I wrong

It's almost refreshing to be routed for a change.

You're absolutely right. You end up wasting a lot less time watching the game.

Got in the car today and Uke was giving the score. He said "Brewers 10, Nationals coming to bat." I thought to myself "Bob's really drunk today."

But it was true! Brewers scored 10 runs in the first inning. Jason Marquis faced seven batters, and all reached base. Craig Counsell later hit a GRAND SLAM.

Brewers held on to win, 11-7, but Doug Davis could not take advantage of a TEN RUN LEAD to get his first win of the season, allowing six hits in the fifth and leaving before he could get out of the inning.

OH YEAHHH!!!!

In four series, the Brewers have won one and their last three series have gone LLW. Which is a big change from last season, when they couldn't win on Sundays to save their lives.

In 12 games this year, the Brewers have given up less than 5 runs once, and less than 4 runs zero times. Averaging giving up 6.25 runs per game.

Luckily, the offense is putting up over 5 runs a game, so they're not 10 games under .500. Yet.

Brewers win a series opener for the first time this season, beating Pittsburgh. Corey Hart homered!

More surprisingly, the Brewers gave up less than 4 runs!!!

Brewers shut out the Pirates 8-0 as Five Plus strikes out 10 in, you guessed it, five innings of work. Jody Gerut hit a pinch hit home run, one of three Brewer bombs.
