Gretzky's Mickey Mouse quote applies to the 09/10 Flames..but let me guess? you really like the Pens ...like all Flamer fans?

Kelser and Iginla have fought more then once so I wouldn't say that Kesler is afraid of him. He has to keep playing in the P/O's so why risk hurting yourself.

True but then don't start something

A fitting end to the season.......Actually when you consider these two stats:

47 Games in which the Flames scored 2 or fewer goals. A streak of close to 50 games in which the Flames didn't win the game in regulation IF the opposition score 2 or more goals.

It's surprising they got 90 points this season!! So without a doubt the best player was Kipper! Most of the rest can ........

careful...don't keep grouping everyone together.

I believe the best thing that could happen to the Flames is that they finish dead last each year for the next three years. Look what happened to Quebec/Colorado back in the late 80's, early 90's when that happened. Same thing for the Penguins in the early part of this past decade. It's not a totally bad thing to take your turn at the bottom once in a while, and it'll give the Flames a chance to re-tool with much better talent going forward. I've been hearing whispers of some young Bantam/Midget age kids coming up that will make the 2003 draft crop look like nothing. Be nice to get in on that.

I mentioned this before.. the Flames are in the No-Man's Area of the draft/NHL. Not good enough to challenge the elite teams and not bad enough to get an early 1st round pick. They have been there a LONG time!! With only 1 1st round pick in the last decade that panned out (they traded him this season) so far.... enough said.
