I don't remember one. Doesn't matter, though. It would've taken seventy two hours for the trade to go through, and by that time the FA I wanted could have been off the board. Maybe I can figure something out. Lemme run the numbers. Three way deal possibly.

If I can wangle Biryukov and Drenner somehow, I'll call off the other deals.

I have veterans signed to reasonable contracts for 2-4 more years and special skills, plus cash to make it happen

It's actually only going to put me at about $15M, which was where I was prior to buying out 2 guys and signing that goalie.

I had to cancel practice for tomorrow as Kleppe was improving as well (in fact his overall has already jumped a point) even though I signed him during practice today.

I would be too. Biryukov is 16 years younger and over $5M cheaper.

$39.9M -(Wilber + Salmonsson) =  (Biryukov + Drenner)

Today was exhibit A in why I would never make it as a professional GM. I kept waffling between Drenner & Speedy's draft pick, and took the prospect instead, as I figured he'd ultimately be better than Drenner. May still work out in my favor, I dunno.
