Let's call the AL West the "Lost the Pedro Race" division.

Great. Not only no Pedro but I handcuffed my squad to end up in the Division of Death.

NebHusker’s draft choice bumped me to the other league by a mere $77k margin. I guess we shall see whether higher salaries actually equate to stronger teams. My assumption is no because of a lot of likely wasted salary. But it’s worth checking the correlation later.

You know I'll be doing that at some point.

In version 1, the NL was +20 on the win-loss record vs the AL.

You’ve done a lot of this type of analysis. Is +20
significant?

It's also very owner/team dependent. The two teams with the worst records (62-100 and 71-91) were in the NL. The third worst record in the NL was 78-84. There were only three teams with 84+ wins in the AL. There were six in the NL. I think it's significant enough.
