With less than 30 games left to play in Cooperstown this season, only 10 teams have records above .500.  One team is right at .500.  And 21 teams are below .500.

How do you explain that kind of competitive skew?  Has Coop become a 'tard world?

A lot of teams in the middle.    Best winning percentage is .590 and the worst is .425.    You see more of that in MWR worlds.   It's entirely possible that no team will win or lose 95.

Do you lower your scouting budget if you're drafting late like  28th, 29th, 30th?  Or would you still use 20 mil if you were picking 32nd?

Depends on if I need that 4m somewhere else.  Training/medical are 20m.  ADV is 0.   The rest are fluid.

Can I get away with Frank Meusel at 2B for an entire season?  He has been shockingly (at least to me) non-sucky (though 14 games is awfully SSS).

NO!!!!  THE ARAPAHO ARE NOTHING MORE THAN WHORES AND THIEVES!!!!   SCREW THEM!!!!!  THE WHITE MAN SHOULD HAVE WIPED THEM OUT!!!!

I would not like him at 2B at all.  But I'd play him at 3B all day.

Hmm. . . if I want to keep Meusel and Brian Meche in the lineup I need to play one of them at second and the other at 3rd.  I assume you'd play Meusel at 3rd and Meche at 2nd?

Also, are you as excited as I am that Pedro Perez and teammate Dave Bale finished with more HR's than K's?
