There's a real dearth of ML SS in S1 right now...I went through them all, and this dude, despite his flaws, is deep into the top half...in that rung below Mercedes, G-MAC, etc.
Yeah, but you couls trade for one of my SS/3Bs.  Also, there may be a shortage right now, but I know I have 3 SSs scheduled to reach the majors in the next 2 years.  Though 2 of them are platoon-only hitters with great gloves.

for him, yes.  I am pretty sure he is the only one I have done that for.  Actually, I'm almost positive because prior to season 10-11 I've gotten rid of all my frist 2 rounds worth of picks.

There aren't a lot of guys who can field and hit. He can kind of do both, and won't kill you in any regard. He might have been able to get bret someone better in return with some solicitation, even.  I think it's a good  deal for both sides. I just don't want anyone thinking this was all that lopsided just because of an overall rating.
I didn't look at overall and it is lopsided.  You have to back it up since you are brets mentor.  bret got raped while you were babysitting him.

I just said to get more than Plesac.

My projections for the two pitchers he got aren't that bad... Both should be on his ML roster, at least.

Two of those guys have been on my roster.  Thumper did a fair job of holding down 1st base last season.  Hopefully he will net me at least a comp pick next offseason.
