Yeah my first tracking thread was for USC Aiken in Smith, started five years ago and it's still going despite the team changiing hands repeatedly (many of the coaches who went through the program had success in DI, most notably myself and gopokes24). I started playing back then because the Terps were struggling and I wanted some sort of outlet where they could do well. I did enjoy the year with Greivis Vasquez as a senior. That shot by Korie Lucius still haunts me... I really feel like they could have been a Final Four team. But it's nice to have a number 1 team in this fantasy... actually at the moment both of my teams are number 1 teams. Still there's no question that I would trade that for success for the real life Terps.

Hard to argue with an offensive performance like that.  I would've preferred somewhat better defense, but it did the trick.  We beat a ranked team at their place - that's always an accomplishment, even if they were ranked 24th and we were ranked 1st.

In the CT Championship, we fall to our rival, Boston College.  While I never like to play badly and worry that this may be indicative of ****** in the Terrapins' shell, it didn't have any negative effect on our NT seeding.  We're still a 1 seed, and BC got to be one as well, as a result of this game.

We have a significant talent advantage at almost every position.  Foss should be able to limit their frontcourt points.  This team doesn't really scare me, but I could be proven wrong.

Again, we hold a distinct talent advantage.  I don't want to jinx this or anything, but I think we're going to win by more than the spread of 5.  We'll see - it's quite possible for us to lose, but up until now we've only lost to Boston College, a team with an equivalent talent level to ours.  LSU played us close, and they also had an equivalent talent level to ours.  We've beaten a lot of good but not great teams by comfortable margins this year.

For the first time of the year, I think we're facing a team that has more raw talent than ours.  They also rely on the 3 pointer a lot, and are very successful in its use.  I think this game is a toss up at best, but Vegas is favoring us by 4 points.

We don't survive an off game.  Elite 8 was the minimum with which I'd have been satisfied with the year.  I would've liked another championship, of course, but even with the #1 RPI (by a long shot) and SOS, now, we didn't have that many games against opponents of this caliber.  Of the ones we did have, we lost 3 of 5 (BC twice, and AZ, but beating BC once and beating LSU barely).

I wonder if we'll be losing anyone early.
