just curious: anybody else have a starting lineup with 150% crb?
I have one team that starts 146
That team has 75% AST too.

If my next pick goes right I’ll have a few 140%+ CRB/ 80+% AST lineups with Curry dropping bombs. It’ll be a war between the two of us!
Nice. I'm trying to decide between having one lineup with 80%+ ast & 3 60%s or all lineups with 70%+ ast. I'm so close to having 5x 100%+ drb right now, too.

I haven't looked at my total CReb%, but in one league just Rodman+Boerwinkle alone get me over 90%CReb. That's without Zo/Alvin/Klay, so it's probably about 140.
Edit: Just looked it all up, 153.9% for that starting unit.
to quote Metalocalypse:

"That's fuckin' brutal!"

I’m still fooling with lineups and I don’t really pay attention to starting lineup numbers. I track the minutes adjusted numbers instead. Seems like my baseline is around 125 CREB% and 65 AST%. But I will likely tweak them to lower or raise the assists closer to the step rates and do the opposite to the corresponding rebounding numbers. My defense looks like it will be worse across the board this go around though. My shooting is actually better which is a surprise.

yeah mainly looking at SLs for ast% purposes, but while I've got it there...

also if 19-20 make it out, Kemba's 19-20 will end up a strong candidate in teh SL

OKC/HOU will be interesting. If Houston's game-plan is working, Adams and Noel won't be playable a lot of the time. The more they're out there the better to kill Houston on the ORebs. It'll be fun to see play out.
LA/POR should be good, too. AD is one of the few bigs that won't get lost switching on to Dame. I think LA wins, but Dame/CJ/Nurkic should make it tough.
It's one of those playoffs where every 1st rd matchup is interesting, at least to me.
The big question, though: Do we think Indy will go undefeated on the way to their rings, or that they might lose 1 game in the Conf Finals or Finals?
Re: OKC/HOU: When, Westbrook comes back sure. But Adams is playable af crashing the offensive boards when they don't have a single person who can make them pay for running a break in the opposite direction.

Re: LA/POR: I think POR has improved dramatically against the trap since the 2018 playoffs and both Nurk and CJ know how to operate as release valves now; plus Dame can split the trap more effectively. But the best option on defense against LeBron is........... Melo? Or the worst player in the NBA, Hezonja?

Assumed you were a Bulls fan; did not know you were a Pacers fan. Classic Kevin Pritchard team with loads of good parts and undervalued assets but never championship level competitive.

Yeah, POR is really missing Ariza, which is not something I thought I'd say about a playoff team in 2020. I haven't watched enough of the bubble: is Trent Jr any good defensively? I've read enough/seen a few minutes, so I know he's scoring well, but do we think he can slow LeBron?
And, yup, Pacers fan since '93. Consistently decent, but something always happens when they show signs of being a potential contender. I will always believe they had the most talented team in the league for the first 7 games of '04, up until that cup hit Artest.

Trent is great at on ball pressure and absolutely elite at coming over screens for blocks or veering down to the roll man for steals. But he is average at off ball defense and would get absolutely destroyed by LeBron in post ups. He is also not a viable screen setter which means they can't easily avoid AD on the switch in the PNR.

Yeah anybody notice amerk didn't go all ****-**** over cmc's delaying the draft by 7 hours? Seems like discrimination against Italians to me.

(cmc I'm not calling you out; I understand people, you know, sleep)
I'm deep in my hole dude. Obviously anyone can take whatever time they need and no one cares, so I don't either at this point.

I'd like my depth at the moment to serve as evidence that it wasn't too early to pick Westbrook. Say what you want about the pick itself, but it didn't really matter that I picked him in the 5th because of the flexibility he provides. I'm even reasonable on TOs with Westbrook in the lineup.

I'd like to share more insights of this nature, but it usually falls on me to do so. There's a conventional wisdom that permeates most of you. Perhaps I might have some more tricks up my sleeve. I'll leave it at that....

On the topic of double standards: when robusk said I was "immune to logic and reason," none of you had a problem with it. When I criticize ben for averaging pick times during a pandemic, some of you have a problem with it. Why? I don't know and I don't care, but suffice it to say that the good times of taking shots at myself are over.
