I believe I'm safe to grab Bench3 1981 Gene Roof $828,619 now.
I can also finish out because I'm the only one with an empty 1B spot - 1971 Dick Allen $5,455,412.

1967 Ossie Chavarria Bench1 $200,076 (Woof!)
1968 Moe Drabowsky RP3 $2,052,679

I believe this is good - All others needing a B3 have their 1970 player:
1970 Tony Gonzalez B3 - $644,844

I am pretty sure I am shutout on a B1 player. I will verify and post a $300K scrub for my final pick shortly.

1964 Al Smith
8/6/2022 9:20 PM
Round 23: 1967 Manny Jimenez Bench3 208,777

Round 24:
1983 Ted Simmons C 4,780,691

For my 24th pick, a $300K play-everywhere scrub for my B1 slot:

1979 Fred Stanley B1 - $285,728

I decided early to draft the best 24-man team possible for $112M and have a split between hitting and pitching of $60M/$50M. I missed out on a few players but otherwise was able to draft most of those I had in my queue. I also believed my 1987 season would not be too popular and I was likely to get dinged a hefty amount on my cap (approx $3M). With that in mind, my planned "bonus" pick would be a $300K dude and would fill a mop-up role on my staff.

We will see how it goes...

1982 John Wathan C

Round 23
B3 1984 Garry Hancock $200,000

Round 24
I'm stuck so give me B2/MI 1976 Rob Belloir $200,090

Total = $102,995,822

FYI - since you got stuck, you (not salary cap related), your 24th round player will have a modified salary of $1,203,298 (the highest of all Bench2 players) and you will draft last in round 25.
8/7/2022 10:44 AM
1978 Tom Bruno - $1,328,572 (RP4)
1967 Wade Blasingame - $251,113 (RP7)
