what does 'facing the minimum' mean? as in 'Lohse faced the minimum through his first six innings.' i've heard the term while playing the show and always wondered. is it the minimum number of batters to record a quality start? a win? a good day?

3 per inning.   Sometimes they use that because of a "walk, double play" situation as opposed to "retired everyone he faced" because he obviously didn't retire the dude he walked.

Bat and balls have an ENTIRELY different meaning to sergie.

I'm sure that's the only reason they'd interview someone with no championships.    No, I don't like coyotes.  They eat garbage.

I'm sure I've seen the answer to this somewhere before but I can't seem to find it. I have a pitcher on the 60-day DL with about 100 days left before he's healthy. The WS is about over. How much time will lapse during rollover? That will help me plan out how much time he'll miss next season.

It's something like 115-118.   He won't miss any time if he's around 100.

Long term injuries before mid-season:  catcher, second base, and part of shortstop module.  Now, I have lost my best bat vs. lefties.  And I had a third prospect from AAA up for middle infield/centerfield duty at one time due another injury.  Tell me again, is it all random?  Or, are the hbd gods ticked at me?

I just took over a team, and the roster has a few players who were promoted to the bigs too soon.  If I demote them to AAA before spring training will that avoid a demotion penalty?
