Are you playing the Fox "Hot Streak" game this season?

The four categories to choose from are: hit (for hitters), win (for pitchers), 5+ strikeouts (for pitchers), and 5+ runs (for team).

In general, without regard to specific players or teams, how would you rank those four categories in terms of safest pick to riskiest pick?

Is stevehoggett retarded? Check out his LH lineup thread. ( along with his half dozen other threads on the front page ) Flips out, deletes his rant comment then reports me for pointing out push/pull rating is a factor where the ball is put in play.

Pitcher injuries:  is the pampering of arms to prevent injuries causing more injuries?  Should pitchers throw more on the side in an effort to prevent injuries?

OK, I have a great free agent pitcher who was not interested in resigning last year, along with another guy who was but I wasn't able to sign him yet because it would violate salary cap for the next season at the time.  We just rolled and now it appears I may have a chance.  I did win the WS and will have a great pitching coach (95).  Would a type A guy who was looking around change his mind and give you a chance to sign him the next season?  Is my other guy still willing, or do I have to compete for him now too?

If you've rolled, you should know by now.   The only guys you can't sign are "I'm filing for FA no matter what."   The "I'm filing unless I'm blown away" can be signed.  Add a year and some money to his demands.

I always enjoy trying to figure out what you expect from players.   I see that guy as 280/340/380 in most situations.   He's pretty damn close.
