Rollie will get shelled. Playing WAY over his head. See you guys soon. Go Canucks.

Rollie's also getting very tired, more like exhausted.  Boucher even admits as much.  That's why Smith started last game.  Stopping 40+ shots every game for an extended period of time will do that to a 40+ goaltender.  If Boston puts on the pressure and keeps it up, Rollie will fold.

I keep betting Bruins and they keep blowing it ? eerily Canuck like  in rd 1 and rd 2 ..i still see  Boston winning ..Is Thomas Luongo's  long lost twin?  both these guys keep winninhg but they look like they are playing at 75%..I  still see a Vcr?Bos Finals ..with the 2 Enigma's in net..

Boston lost because they didn't keep up the pressure on Roloson.  Almost the entire last 40 minutes seemed to be played in Boston's end.  Gotta have more killer instinct next game or they're done.

Some Game 7 notes (courtesy of a friend who works in the Canes PR Dept):

Friday's Game 7 is the 8th in the NHL Conference final since 1994. The winning team has gone on to win the Stanley Cup in each of the previous seven times.

-- Home teams are 5-2 and has won the last 3 conference final Game 7s

-- 5 of the 8 teams held a 3-2 series lead entering Game 6 (including Bruins-Bolts)

-- Last 4 Game 7s in conference final have been in East ('03, '04, '06, '11)

-- New Jersey is the only team to win on the road (2000, 2003) and the only team to play Game 7 after leading series 3-1 (2003) and trailing series 3-1 (2000)

-- Tampa's 4th playoff Game 7 (3-0); 2nd in ECF (2004) and 2nd on road (2011 1st round vs PIT)

-- Boston's 21st Game 7 (10-10); 1-0 in 2011 playoffs (lost previous 4)

Agree and disagree.

They were flat as hell for a long period of time....but they had some BAD penalties called on them.  Some of which resulted in goals.

That said, they needed to turn up the heat.  In the 1st period and the end of the 3rd, they clearly played better hockey and showed that they are the better team.  They need to sustain that for 3 full periods.

The Eastern Final is like a battle of ineptitude.  Who can let in the least bad goals. Canucks are like the '82 Islanders, waiting for their fodder.

If the Bruins get by Tampa tonight, Horton (on the Bruins thanks to the Neely-Peterson trade) will haunt you!
