I'd like my depth at the moment to serve as evidence that it wasn't too early to pick Westbrook. Say what you want about the pick itself, but it didn't really matter that I picked him in the 5th because of the flexibility he provides. I'm even reasonable on TOs with Westbrook in the lineup.

I'd like to share more insights of this nature, but it usually falls on me to do so. There's a conventional wisdom that permeates most of you. Perhaps I might have some more tricks up my sleeve. I'll leave it at that....
Yeah I said I liked the Westbrook pick and you told me you didn’t want anyone talking about it anymore.

I know, which is why it wasn't you I had in mind with this comment

I know but you said you didn’t want anyone talking about it even if it was positive and that you didn’t want anyone talking about your team at all. I just don’t know what you’re looking for but I’m excited to see what your team does.

I've stayed out of this because it seems like a pointless, vicious cycle. But bds, you keep injecting new life into it. And some of what you say makes little sense.
"I'd like to share more insights of this nature, but it usually falls on me to do so." Yes, if you want to share your insight, the agency will fall on you. This is basic logic. If you want to share your pov, indeed, you will have to speak that pov.
"There's a conventional wisdom that permeates most of you." This is fairly nonsensical, but I think I see what you were going for. "Conventional wisdom"... Or, as it's also known, common sense? So, there's a common sense that most of us have, which you don't? I don't think that was your intent to say, but that's how it reads.
Please, bds, for your sake and others', just stop posting argumentative posts. If you give no ammo, no one can fire any shots at you. At the very least, if you feel you need to post, take more time to collect your thoughts and check over your wording before you hit 'submit.' It'll help get your point across better.

Brave robusk: takes the two 19-20 players he is absolutely in love with the next two rounds
Lame robusk: takes mediocre players he will probably hardly use the next two rounds

Feeling like a lame day. Although probably my best outcome is taking the lame choices, and hoping a bunch of competitors fall out of contention because the 19-20 drop never happens.

Conventional wisdom differs from common sense like this:

con·ven·tion·al wis·dom
noun
  1. a generally accepted theory or belief.
"conventional wisdom has it that a book should never be judged by its cover"
com·mon sense
/?käm?n 'sens/
noun
  1. good sense and sound judgment in practical matters.

See the difference? One is good. The other is just accepted.

I don’t know what part isn’t making sense. “It usually falls on me to do so” refers to the fact that Westbrook was almost universally panned. I understand why, but it fell on me to make the pick and then defend it, because of the conventional wisdom. It usually does.

As far as shots go, well, I’ve got some too. Regardless, don’t come at me with a rhetorical argument, especially when you don’t know the difference between conventional wisdom and common sense. I’ve got more “ammo” than you anyway.

Also, somebody tell Beavis that I hear the planet Neptune is very nice this time of year.

The tricky part is I do have my eyes on a 19-20 season in the 12th, but I need guys to play still so I couldn't take him in the 11th. Picking at the end of 12, if the season drops, he may not be there.

It is all too Savage

I propose we rename “Brave Robusk” to “Robust”

How many times per day are you re-pressing search on the Season = 19-20 query?

I was planning on 19-20 Westbrook and Capela, so.......yeah. There are other Westbrook’s, though. Capela, not so much.

Every second we don't get it, I honestly think we are actually further from getting it this season.

Jesus. I might have been a little harsh, but I was trying to speak sense to you. I was trying to help end this annoying cycle. You automatically went to attack. It was not a rhetorical argument I brought up. Your wording, "I'd like to share more insights of this nature, but it usually falls on me to do so," does make little sense. The first part says you would like to share. But, after that comma you lament the fact that you would have to share.
As far as common sense, they are entwined. We base most of our common sense off of conventional wisdom. "Conventional wisdom says most people don't like being attacked, so common sense dictates that if I attack any and all I will probably face negative feedback."
I don't know why you believe you have more "ammo" than me, we don't know each other. Besides that, I wasn't attacking you, I was trying to get you to better think out your posts. But you seem to be into playing the victim and then lashing out, digging for any reason to talk negative. Some people have posted various levels of support for you, but you attack even them. So far I've seen immaturity, victim-mentality, aggression, impulsivity, delusion, and now blind sense of superiority and narcissism. However, unlike what you've shown, I realize that everyone here is more than just the posts they make. So, I tried to speak to your reasoning. I assume I'll just have to wait for the next inevitable lashing out by you.
