The Sky Is Falling II:The Sky Falls Again Topic

We'll be reviewing worlds during the next couple weeks. As was the case last time around, merging worlds is a possibility.

The fantasy baseball season is coming to a close, so we typically see some new users entering the game as a result. We believe that will help with the flurry of world rollovers on the horizon.

We are in the middle of developing an update for HBD right now. We have several updates for the game lined up.

If anyone has ideas to better market the game, we're all ears.

Thanks

lower prices for owners who've been paying lots of dough since the beginning

for reals

Owners already get a $10 credit every five seasons they've been in a world.

You want more than that?

Can they cap how many aliases you have?

ummm...yeah

if they made hbd teams cheaper in general (meaning don't have to be in a world for 5 seasons to get a discount) worlds would fill quicker and with more quality owners

assuming the commishes do background checks on applicants

Shockingly, tzent didn't acknowledge the 10 teams for $20 idea.

I thought that was a good one.

Were you around for the giveaway? Doesn't get any cheaper than that. Remember how that worked out?

On the marketing side, I belong to a number of Red Sox fan discussion forums. All have recently started taking banner ads for various online games (Evony, etc.)

I have inquired on one site, the best 'knowledge' site, about HBD players and only gotten a handful (out of 5K+ members) of responses. The people who frequent baseball discussion forums, especially the independent-from-team-sites, are a potential pool of customers that WifS could be attracting with little to no new cost.

That's an excellent route to people who have regular, daytime computer access.

sergei wants his entitlement. If he plays HBD long enough, they should eventually just give him free teams. Just because.
