I'd start with 15-15. If he's not getting a full inning from that, you can up it to 20. But I really wouldn't want him throwing more than 15.

He'll complete about 53% of his passes and throw a couple of picks. Probably a low scoring game(unless his picks go for TDs) so, I'll give him 237 yards passing with a TD.

I'm in that exact situation in Hamilton. I maxed out scouting and prospect money. Still had 79m for payroll. So I figured I'd chase a few younger FA who'd still be contributors when the rest of my team were BL-ready. I signed 3(24,29,30 y/o) but the rest either weren't worth having at the going rate or were too old to help in the future. If your team has some players(mine didn't) that could compete with a few more pieces, I'd go hard after FA. If not, I'd follow the path I've taken.

You have to transfer 2m to get 1m. I'm not fond of giving up budget money. But, if you have nothing else to do with it, it seems like the logical path.

1. Yes, he's a stud. If he was the missing piece of the puzzle, I'd go all out for 3 seasons. As a 1B/DH, 10m or so.

2. I suspect that FA take the most money. He's not getting a 5y/110m max deal.

Since you'll have a lot of cap space, yes, I'd offer a bonus. I don't know what world you're in but I don't think a 1B gets a 5y/75m in any of my worlds. Edit: Checked MG. The top 1B don't get 7m a year.
