I already pussed out on drafting. I swore I was going to try a player I've never taken before, but I dropped back to the tried and true Mike Scott. Maybe on the 2nd pick.

cravath was player/manager in 1919-20. he wont count as player/manager player if any other season is taken

his 1919 year was pretty good as a backup.

After 21 rules had been submitted, I put a team together ... the draft and the HR/SB limits have already wiped out eleven of the 25 guys I had pencilled in, including Cravath. Wonder if I'll lose another one before I get to draft.

just lost an owner for legit reasons i will take over the team and draft 24th and bump everyone up a spot. my two teams will be in seperate divisions and have 25 diff players on each.

I don't think anyone expects you to have two completely different rosters, as many of the others are sure to have players/seasons in common.

I agree. No reason to force yourself to pick all completely different players. You might be the only one with '17 Ruth!

just to clear things up because it has been asked via sitemail...

your #1 SS must be a gold glove SS. you must draft a gold glove SS season for your team. if you decide to bench him or not start him all the time that is fine, but you cannot draft a gold glove winner from another position and use him at SS and count that as following the rule.

a gold glove winning SS season must appear on every team
