I've thought of requesting home versus away fielding information. Right now, it's all lumped together into a total for your team stats. I wonder if that would shed some light too.
It is definitely a small sample size, but I've seen serious increases in errors from players who typically don't make errors, or who make very few errors once they even drop to 99%. For example, I use the '89 HoJo at SS on virtually every team I'm able to and he almost always plays error free ball. His only errors ever come once he drops below 100. I had him make 5 errors before in a season in which he never dropped below 98 fatigue. 5 may not seem like many, but from a guy who normally gives you 0, it's a large increase. I also routinely use Wrigley Field, so my ballpark has remained fairly consistent as well.
That said, I would not be opposed to home/away fielding splits as well. Especially if there is some factor involved there.
