Jersey numbers.

I'd kind of like being able to design our own uniforms from a palette, sort of like you can with EA Sports games. Totally cosmetic and pointless, but probably fun.

Customizing Uniforms would be pretty cool.

Keep up the good work and we'll be reviewing all of these suggestions to see where they can fit.

Thanks again!!

Wow, That's a pretty good compliment.

Here's one that's minor but really annoying. On the team fielding page, it lists double plays by the total of DPs for each individual on the roster. It should list the team total.

In other words, if you turn a 6-4-3, your SS, 2B, and 1B all get credit for a DP and on the team fielding page it will list your team total as 3. The total should be 1.

two DITR suggestions....

DITRs also get a bump to their current ratings. This would make older DITRs more useful and make it more likely that DITRs become MLers.

For better players who have no shot at becoming a DITR make it so they have a chance to get a bonus in one category. Maybe a pitcher adds or improves 1 pitch, An infielder gets a bump in range, etc.

When I first joined the site two years ago there was talk of possibly letting the winner of the WS in every world name a stadium, coach, player, etc. I think this would be fun (for that matter, I think we should get to rename the stadium we play in anyway with or without a WS win). Maybe the winner of the WS can actually design their ballpark? Complete with park effects and wall distances. The WS winner could also add a few cities or colleges/high schools to the database (or choose to increase the liklihood of a certain one being chosen if its already in the database.

I'm copying this from another thread, just to see how it goes over. It's a suggestion to inject some craziness into scouting, for those who want more first round busts and/or later round DiTRs
---------------------------------------------
As mentioned, I'd like to keep scouting the way it is, but if I had to change it, here's how I'd do it, and I think for the most part everybody would pretty much be satisfied.

Get rid of current DiTRs completely.

Add a tweak to the amatuer draft where approximately 30 players are labeled... for lack of a better word... Diamonds. A Diamond will be clearly labeled somehow on his player card. It's obvious that everybody knows he's a Diamond. The Diamonds will have very high ceilings, all with projected OVRs at 85 or higher.

The catch is that of the 30 Diamonds, only 10 will actually realize their full potential, 10 will come moderately close, and 10 will flat out bust. There's no way to actually tell what your Diamond will do until it actually happens. It happens randomly, anywhere between a week after the Diamond signs his contract, to 3 seasons later, and you're notified in your inbox which direction your Diamond went, at which point, the Diamond label dissapears from his card and he looks like a regular player.

What this accomplishes: If you don't like having first round busts you avoid the Diamonds and take the sure fire players. The teams who want to risk more will draft the Diamonds in the first and second rounds. There will be plenty of first and second round busts with these Diamonds, and there will be later round All Stars because some Diamonds will slip into later rounds, not to mention regular players could slip into later rounds if a lot of teams are drafting Diamonds early. Add in some IFA Diamonds as well.

I think it keeps both sides happy. If you don't like the idea of Diamonds then just don't draft, sign, or trade for them. It could make for some interesting trades too. Would you trade a 78 OVR starting pitcher for a projected 90 OVR pitcher if there was only a 33% chance he'll reach his projections?

Players being assigned/demoted to a minor league club should be able to be inactivated in the same roster move, instead of having to inactivate a different player, submit, make a second roster move to inactivate/reactivate the players, submit, then reset the inactivated/reactivated player in his lineup/pitching staff role.

I agree with this suggestion as well

How about when a player comes of the DL or inactive list, he automattically resumes his previous spot in the lineup, defensive hierarchy, pitching rotation, pinch hitting chart, and player rest chart?
