I love how now you are calling him out for spinning someones words when you tried to spin my words around about what I said to do to fix your site, when you were nowhere close to what I had actually said.

So how exactly is the usage of United States incorrect? You'd say US States instead? Potaytoe Pototoe?

I owned up to and admitted misreading/misinterpreting your post...that still isn't good enough for you?

You're talking about States. which states? states from the US, aka US States.

Saying they are "13 united states" could mean you're talking about 13 random states across the globe that happen to be united. you need to finish "United States" before saying states to complete the thought, thus saying states twice is not redundant.

just like saying "people misuse then more than than" is not redundant. its incorrect (improper) to say "people misuse then more than"

Potato would be a hell of a lot more fun to say if that 'Y' was thrown in.

Ironically enough, I have ZERO people questioning my true intent of United States. I'd rather state it like this than be unnecessarily redundant...what is US anyhow?

just like saying "people misuse then more than than" is not redundant. its incorrect (improper) to say "people misuse then more than" Completely different instance.

The problem you have, Colonels, is that "United States" is a proper name, not two words strung together It isn't redundant because "United states' is a singular entity. Thus saying "US states" actually only has two elements to it. "Unitedstates" which is a proper name, and states, which is a noun. Which states? "Unitedstates" ones.
YOurs is taking a proper name and splitting it in half and treating it as two separate entities.

My mentor!? LOFL, are you kidding? When I need or want help I'll ask for it.

That is the same reason you see "NFL football" and "NBA Basketball". WHatever the components of the acronym stand for, the Acronym is now a proper name.
